Good morning Floodwood students and staff. Today is Wednesday, March 14th.
The Arrowhead Library video Neighbors is in the library waiting for the person who checked it out to come and get it. If it's not picked up by the end of the school day, it will be returned to the library for you.
The trip to Fond du Lac will leave after 1st hour and return at 1:00 today.
Juniors and Seniors interested in meeting with the Hibbing Community College Recruiter on March 23rd at 1:30 can sign up in the office.
The Bloodmobile will be at Floodwood School next Wednesday, March 21st from noon to 3:00. Donating blood, saves lives. To sign up please contact Ms. Kabus.
Please stop in the art room to get more information and permission slips to attend the Region 7A Visual Arts Festival on Tuesday, April 3rd. This is for any high school student.
There will be a Kick Off to Spring Break middle school dance for grades 6-9 in the cafeteria from 7-10 on Tuesday March 27. Cost is $3 and concessions will be sold. If you'd like to bring an out of town guest, you can pick up a permission form from the office and return to Ms. Fierke before Monday March 26. If you are planning on attending the dance, all participants will show Polar Pride behavior. Please use the North door, they will lock at 7:15. Remember, once you leave the dance, parents will be notified and you will be unable to return.
There will be no Title I today with Mr. Svatos unless he comes to get your students.
There will be no math interventions with Ms. Beth or Ms. Opacich today.
Remember, this week’s focus word is LISTENING. We can ROAR and show respect by listening to our classmates, teachers, and friends. You can learn new things when you listen. Be a good listener today.
The new date for the Duct Tape the Principal Senior Fundraiser is Monday, March 19th. Three pieces of tape for a $1.00. The class that buys the most tape will get to throw pies at Dr. Villebrun. K – 11 grade can buy tickets before school, after school, or during lunch from any Senior. Students that have purchased tickets already can be used for this new date.
High school students, be sure to cash in your pride paws! When you get one, bring it in.
Today’s lunch is Meatloaf burgers, green beans, cucumbers, and fruit.
Tomorrow’s breakfast is Grape Filled Croissant, fruit cup, and juice.
