Hello!

I am Amanda Fjeld and I am the new Principal for the Floodwood School!  My position may be new, but I am not new to the district. I have been with the Floodwood School since the 2011-12 school year! My husband, Wayne, and I both are products of FHS, graduating in the early 2000s. I am fortunate and grateful to now have my own kids attend Floodwood School. Kalli will be a senior this year, Eli a Freshman and Kai will be jumping up to the high school side as a 7th grader.

I personally try to connect with all students in our district, not just if they find themselves in some trouble. The relationships I build helps me help our students through trials during the school year.  I am excited to build on the relationships I have created during my time in the district and really hit the ground running as the new principal. We have a great team here in the building and I love working with our/your students. Please reach out if you have concerns or questions. Together we can make this year great for your child(ren)!

I am and will always be proud to be a Polar Bear, and hope to instill that in each child that walks through our hallways!
