Daily Bulletin for Wednesday, November 6th, 2024

Good Morning Floodwood students and staff today is Wednesday, November 6th. 

You are welcome to stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

High School Volleyball Players: Laura, the evening custodian, would like to thank the volleyball teams for cleaning up the bleachers after home games. Those few minutes you took saved her a lot of time cleaning up in the gym - way to go girls!

Also, High School Volleyball girls. The varsity locker room needs to be cleaned. Please remove all items by the end of this week. Anything remaining will be removed from the locker room and put in lost and found. 

Congratulations to the Patriot Pen winners for the VFW Essay Contest. 1st place - Joey Bennett 2nd place - McKennah Keil and 3rd place - Bowen Engh. Thank you to all that participated. The winners will be reading their essays Monday at the Veteran’s Day Program. 

Next week Monday will be the start of the Scholastic Book Fair! Check out the district website for dates and times! 

Next week Tue and Thurs, November 12th and 14th, there are Parent Teacher Conferences, please check with Teachers regarding your scheduled time in Elementary. High School students, your teachers are available from 3:30-7pm both evenings. 

7th - 12th graders, today is the first day of reading club in the Polar Den. Please get your signed permission slips to Mrs.Ruzynski. 

It is getting colder - please dress for the weather. Personal blankets are not allowed in classrooms or  hallways. 

Hall Passes - High School Students: Reminder, one student out of class at a time. Teacher needs to give permission for the hall pass. A teacher may ask you to wait before leaving the class depending on what is going on in the classroom. It is important to be in class. 

Quarter 2 has started - start strong, start positive and seek help when it is needed! Let’s make this quarter the best one yet!
